Originally established in 1901, Westover serves as an ideal location for new businesses and residents. Located along US HWY 280 and situated approximately 25 miles from downtown Birmingham, this lovely town provides a small-town feel while giving its residents citizens access to large city amenities due to its proximity to a metropolitan area. Westover has seen a multitude of developments and subdivisions built along the Highway 280 corridor and an additional 542 homes are expected to be construction by 2025.
Westover is actively seeking development projects that will further diversify its economy. The City has extensive growth potential from scenic rolling wooded hills for continued residential development to the busy US HWY 280 corridor for vast commercial and industrial development potential. With progressive leadership, the City welcomes the opportunity to assist prospects considering locations in Westover.
