As the holiday season approaches, I want to take a moment to share my gratitude and excitement as I look forward to serving as your new mayor. This time of year reminds us of the importance of community, kindness, and togetherness—values that have shaped my life here for the past 65 years.

I have been proud to call this city home for decades. I was a member of our first City Council and have served on the Planning Commission for the last six years. My wife, Tracy, and I have been married for 39 wonderful years. We have one son, Travis, and his wife Tiffany, who have blessed us with two amazing grandchildren, Carson and Macy. Our family’s roots run deep here, and that makes this opportunity to serve you even more meaningful.

As we celebrate the holidays, let us also look forward to a new year filled with promise and progress. Together, we will continue to build a city where families thrive, businesses grow, and neighbors support one another. I encourage you to take time to enjoy the season with loved ones and to share kindness with those in need.
